New Service Gives Property and Facility Managers Photographic Record of Maintenance and Repairs

ConstructionPhotoDocs.com, the web-based service that provides building developers and contractors with a com¬plete photographic index of their construction projects, has unveiled a new program designed to let facility and property managers document the condition of their properties on an ongoing basis, as well as create a photographic record of any ongoing maintenance or renovation work done on their properties. As with the company’s original service, all images are stored in chronological order on CPD’s web platform for authenticity and security, and are accessible to any authorized viewer. Packages start at $69 per month.

“This gives property management companies and facility managers an affordable tool to create a visual record that they can use to show property owners how well their properties are maintained, as well as protect themselves should there be a question as to the quality of a vendor’s work,” said Scott Yahraus, co-founder of ConstructionPhotoDocs.com. “Plus, for property management firms looking to differentiate themselves from the competition, this can be a tremendous marketing advantage.”

According to Yahraus, the new programs will be very similar to the company’s developer/contractor full service program, except that the property manager will be responsible for taking the photos. The manager will provide CPD with a copy of the property’s complete floor plan, and CPD’s operations professionals will indicate the locations from where the photos should be taken. The number of locations selected will depend on the package the property manager chooses. The initial package of $69 per month allows for 20 locations photographed per month. After the photos are taken, property or facility managers then easily transfer the photos to CPD, where company representatives will load the images onto the web platform. At this point, all the photos will be available for retrieval and viewing.
