Advocacy Day & Public Policy
Make your voice heard in Washington, D.C., on behalf of FM
Sept. 20-21, 2011
Embassy Suites Crystal City - National Airport | Arlington, Va.
IFMA is asking chapters to send representatives to Washington, D.C., this September. Members are also encouraged to participate.
This annual meeting has become an important forum for agency, congressional and industry leaders to exchange ideas and best practices regarding the future of our nation’s built environment and the integrated demands on our infrastructure. |
|
Following last year’s Advocacy Day, those who participated were notified that the Federal Buildings Personnel Training Act of 2010 had passed through the house, and the senate was headed to President Obama’s desk. IFMA chapter leaders played an important role in educating Congress and their staff about the bill’s importance.
