Global FM 9th International Workshop in London

The Global Facility Management Association (Global FM) will host the 9th Global FM International Workshop in London on 13 April 2010. The workshop will be held during the BIFM Annual Conference 2010 of the British Institute of Facilities Management, in London at the Riverside Park Plaza Hotel.

One of the key issues facing facility management professionals today is the challenge of delivering consistent services across boundaries. This can be city to city, region to region, state to state, country to country or continent to continent. Clients want a guaranteed service level that can be understood, monitored and communicated. The number of suppliers who aim to provide a global offering the opportunities for cross boundary delivery are increasingly facing ever increases challenges from information technology implementation to currency exchange issues.

This is the first of two planned workshops in 2010 to explore the challenges and opportunities that cross border delivery facility management faces and to look at practical and repeatable solutions. The second will be held at World Workplace in Atlanta, Ga., USA, in October 2010.
