Don't Forget to Participate in IFMA's Space and Project Management Survey




IFMA encourages all members to participate in the association’s annual benchmarking survey, Space and Project Management Benchmarks. There is no cost to participate—and you will receive a free copy of the results. Benchmarking is one of the premiere benefits IFMA offers to it members. The survey was designed with IFMA members in mind as it includes categories for a variety of facilities such as offices, call centers, research labs, museums, hospitals, data centers, retail and manufacturing.

This year’s survey contains the following metrics:

• Vacancy rates;
• Office size;
• Workstation utilization;
• Conference space per person;
• Office size standards;
• Churn rates;
• Pre- and post-relocation practices;
• Furniture standards;
• Non-dedicated workspace;
• Cost of moves;
• CAFM applications; and
• Project management.

Once compiled, the results will be broken out by industry type, facility type, region and much more. You may respond electronically to the survey or complete the mailed copy sent a few weeks ago. To respond to the survey online, click here. The Adobe Acrobat form allows you to save and finish in multiple sessions if needed. IFMA will collect responses until the end of March 2010.
